A sinner unwelling sin requires constant diligence and vigilance on our part to continually be mortifying the remaining sin within us. In John 5 6 Jesus asked the paralytic do you wish to be made well? And that same question applies to you and me Omaha if you're dealing with a habitual sin in your life Do you really want victory over that sin? Thomas Watson writes this quote Christ's sheep may sometimes go astray by error and may fall into acts of sin as did David But Christ will reduce them and bring them off again by speedy repentance. The weakest saint alive is so much a sheep that he is part of his shepherd Christ and believers are one.
