The Consequences of Evil
David had 10 concubines left to care for his house while he took all the other wives with him. While he was gone, Absalom had sexual relations with them in the sight of all the people. So what does David do? He put them in a house under guard and provided for them but didn't have sex with them ever again. They were essentially sequestered until the day of their deaths.
