Substack

The writer and the creator are ascendant and have power. We know that if i go on facebook and i'm a business, people may follow me. But for this specific thing of providing writers to connect with readers then we will be able to retain people off Twitter. It's no disotio twitter has its own merits which we certainly love - but there is something about substack versus social mediocrities like ghost or patrion where you can make money just by being yourself. And our answer as substack is to always have the governing principle of putting the writer first. There's never going to be an algo that keeps your email out of your paying subscribers in box.
