Olmsted - The Proponents of Forest Bathing
Rick Steves talks with landscape historian and filmmaker Lawrence Cotton about Frederick Law Olmsted's vision for American parks. Cotton says the father of U.S. landscape architecture was an early proponent of forest bathing, which is now in vogue around the world. He also points out that public parks are essential to our civil and civic infrastructure as we've seen during this past couple of years.
