Chris: nullability is one of the big things that people appreciate about Kotlin. The only time that we really run into the weirdness is when dealing with protobufs. We try to avoid the like service for everything right? Well, I think it's kind of like I don't I hope it's passed away but at one point in the Java community that we're going yes have an interface for every tiny concept and then just stick them together.
