What Is the Difference Between Traditional and Simplified?

The language itself is relatively newer compared to like the Chinese language, for example. Even in my parents' lifetime, like Hessebnita, which is a verb for like, I did this, the spelling of that has changed at least once. So then it's kind of like a evolving language. The traditional stuff, I was like, I can't even imagine learning this. It sounds hard to learn as like a three year old letter loan at like 16 years olds.
