How to Calculate Your Total Volume
People often want to know whether different exercises count for certain muscle groups, and in terms of calculating their overall volume. It all depends on your training status number one. And I think the other thing it depends on is how you're performing the exercise and the resistance profile within that exercise too. So if we were doing something like nobody ever talks about pen presses, but if you had pens that you're pressing into, and you're not getting full lockout, you're doing half the range of motion. Those are two different types of stimulus. One is going to have far less stimulus for the triceps on it. The other one isgoing to have far more stimulus for the packs.
