The Consolidation of the Health Insurance Market

There was certainly a lot that happened that we hadn't anticipated. Some of the critical capabilities and tenets that are needed to succeed in one line of business is just fundamentally different than in others. If you're playing an MA, it's about really strong care management, risk adjustment, stars and heat discourse. It's very different than what you need to compete in the individual market or in small group or in large group. And leveraging technology to improve a core insurance business is very different from licensing technology that can be interoperable with other insurance platforms.
