Not since 2012 has Africa's Great Lakes region been on such a troubling trajectory, but this time no one is pumping the brakes. No one can feel at ease with the situation which more and more African armies are mustering and deploying into a rather small area. It's just a force for destabilization, not only of Eastern Congo because this is going to have spillover effects on all the neighboring countries. So I think any government that cares about the stability of the African continent should be very worried about what's going on in the Great Lakes.
