The Disfasia Diet Standardization Initiative
The International Disfasia Diet Standardization Initiative has come up with a framework to describe the texture of foods and thickness of drinks. It details eight levels from thin through pureed and up to regular, easy to chew. So then we were able to test the food according to the testing methods within this,. what we call IDDSI. We have different testing methods, which simply is a fork and a spoon to keep it really simple.
