Is the Federal Reserve Really Transitory?

i'm hearing that inflation, according to all the experts who think it's transitory, i supposed to pek in february or march. So how long do you wait after that to see that the trend has stopped? And if we continue to see inflation persist through the summer, sayto labor day, american labor day, the one that happens in the beginning of september? Does that mean that the e the transitory group, was wrong and the secular group was right? Or is it still too early to tell? How do you decide?
