"I was so green at this that I thought that a writer's room is like 12 angry men. Like you have to have consensus before you move on to the next thing," he says. "There's a lot of, you know, not just trusting your gut, but also being willing to fight for it or just say, no, this is what it is." He adds: "It can all kind of get nibbled into bits from all different directions go nowhere"
