John Mark: Christianity is an adventure word. It's a doing word. I think we are losing a generation or generations by boredom and disinterest because we're expecting Christianity to be a listening word. What we saw in that time was it forged us. We were prepared to take radical steps believing that we could somehow shift the climate and atmosphere over our nation. And then I think it created a greater confidence in every individual John Mark in the power of spiritual disciplines.
