Is Neuro Science Relevant to Understanding the Mind?
Is there anything important to be learnt about our minds by studying the architecture of the brain directly? For instance, what function seems to be specific for certain hemispheres? Or the default mode network is central for self reference and day dreaming. I'm trying to explain why i think such knowledge is bound to be marginal at best. And it's also non parsimonious. You 're adding an extra assumption there that is unexplainable that is true? Yes. Er, i think only in a very marginal way.
