Mux uses just in time transcoding to make your videos ready really fast. An hour long video, it could be ready in like a matter of seconds and ready for playback. So if you go to a video and no one watches it, then we never have to actually transcode it and save those segments of video. And that makes so much sense as long as that transcoding process can be fast enough.
In this supper club episode of Syntax, Wes and Scott talk with Dylan Jhaveri about his work at Mux, how Mux ingests and spits out video, and where Mux fits in a tech stack for developers working with video and audio.
