i think sponsorship is more towards like endorsement than like advertisement. A lining with that like person, that human who is making it and has that value can have tremendous leverage for the supporting company or advertiser. i just think there's more of these kind of very human, very handcrafted sort of things tat can be done with sponsoring companies that aren't like ads.
