UX Writing - How Did You Get Started?

I was doing all the content in a company. It wasn't a particularly small startup, but it was very dynamic. I would do email marketing and blog posts and social media. And at some point, the developers started coming to me with questions like, oh, how should we name this button? What do you think? So that's where I go again. That's when I discovered UX writing.
