He asks whether there's anything in particular you think we should bear in mind about Judaism which conditioned this engagement with the scientific literature. Peter Adamson: One central feature of Judaism is that at least since the second century Judaism was or rather have been a cultural devoted to the study of the sacred texts of Judaism.
