What Is It Like to Go to a Synagogue?
The celebration and the grief, the joy, the light and the darkness, it's all part of one sacred mix of t e human experience. My oldest daughter, eva became bamiza a week after donald trump was elected president. It was a time of incredible anxiety, grief and sorrow for most american jews. And so we've learned overtime to hold these difficult moments. At the same time as we're holding our joy, we also are really holding the tension between keeping ourselves and our community safe and secure. As as a jewish community, am keeping our doors and our hearts open to the stranger.
