Is There Any Inherent Value in Pain?
There is a history of black people in particular being undertreated for pain. And i think the other mistake that we sometimes make is, now, in the last ten years, is that we blame the physicians. I don't believe that we should go back to time and let just people have bein pain, and that's it. You know, when you're in pain, there're so many things that you worry about doing. But what i do think is really, really important is shifting our focus. It wants people to change their focus to living their life to the fullest despite the pain.
