The Metaverse: A Novel About Suburban Kansas

I grew up in the San Fernando Valley which is where a significant portion of the book takes place. I kind of like see this like twisted version of like 90s valley suburbia so it's always fascinating just kind of likesee how that's been reinterpreted. The name really rubs me the wrong way because there is an implicit promise that you are giving authorial curatorship of your life to a corporation and if anything Noah brought up the best point that it reminds it him of the villages of that nightmarish chain of adult living residential Floridian housing.
