The Importance of Academic Training

People who are academically trained feel the most comfortable when they're in their field. And my field is, I always struggle between saying it's systematic theology, slash historical theology. It's probably historical theology specializing in the historical study of systematics. So I feel very comfortable in systematics, apologetics, philosophy and the history of the church.
