Big fancy crowns were not the norm for the Targaryens actually egg on the third had a simple unadorned golden circlet paler. Some of these are like vlary's steel swords they have their own names but they're part of a crown and aren't even individuals anymore. If a crown has a ruby in it are we sure that's not part of a glamour?
