Mildred's Life Was Spared

The trial began in december 19 forty two and its result was basically a foregone conclusion. Mildred's nationality and the sexism of the judges contributed to a different verdict in her case to everyone else. The transcripts from the trial were destroyed by the notses. And so we don't know exactly why, butit we do have the sentence ing document that did survive. A mildred fully argued that she knew nothing and that she was just a wife. But of course, that was just a defence strategy.
