Play Based Learning Centers

The whole morning for example in English isn't just around drumming things into the children it might be small groups that the teacher is working with and then they will go and play. Those play based learning centers or experiences are all set up around literacy but often with a history focus or a geography focus so that's how we cover it. We found having a Peter to initiatives person to help us with that really helpful. You need to have people who are really willing to think outside the box and also give permission, say okay we're giving this a go and then see the benefits of it as as it comes.
