Is the West in a Recession?
In 2008, according to World Bank data, GDP per capita in the European Union was $37,000. And it persistently declined in the years following it. By 2021, by 2021, it's finally caught up to the level it was at in 2008. The most recent IMF projections for world economic growth show that the West is essentially going to be in recession or at least stagnation.
