The Depressing Story of Erdogan

There is this sense that there's the massive angry people in the center of Turkey. And they vote though, and their votes count. Erdogan may be a mess in all kinds of ways, but he's getting to be more and more of a mess. But there's that overwhelming sense of a kind of vengeful nationalism that got out of the early 20th century. There's been a century of fascist propaganda in Turkey, and it is fascist propaganda.
