Methylation just becomes wonky as we age, which incidentally looks like the chronic diseases of aging. We want to be giving our body two really important pieces of information in the form of what we call epineutrients. And these are foods that influence epigenetics. So beats with bataine, eggs with choline, liver is a multivitamin in a food matrix. Lots of leafy greens, seeds like pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, nuts, mushrooms. Even button mushrooms have choline in them. This will let us put those red lollipops down on genes.
