Jim Jones spent almost two years in Brazil. He never did anything to establish a ministry or bring followers down there. His church back home, which he'd spent several years building into a successful enterprise, completely fell apart and shrank with him. There are a lot of reasons to say there's no way he could have been skitzophrenic. And i read a lot of books about skitzoprenia trying to figure out if i could put that label on jim jones.
