What Is Line of Fancy and What I'm Going to Make Art Out Of?

Both of you have workedwith som man different mediums. How do we decide what is just a flight of fancy or a wild notion, and what we're going to make art out of? Am i i'm not sure you get to decide. Normally, for me at least, an idea takes root and it doesn't leave. And it hangs around, and it starts accreating other things to it. It feels more real, and it concatenates.
