The Human Element in the Causation of These Wild Fires?
Most of these forest fires which we have seen this summer would have been prevented if it wasn't for the human element. So there's a rough assumption that people ina, pastoralist, especially in the mediterranean, a use still figher also as an management toll but is not so common any more. And currently, we are running a research project called fire risk where the european commission wants to find out options and practices that can help to prevent these fires. Because, especially under these heat waves, it is very important that the population is very careful in trying to avoid as much of these fires as possible.
