The Importance of Insect Based Protein

There are a lot of other side streams and byproducts, bakery, waste, dried distillers, grains and solubles. And so insects are happy to eat some of these materials, but they also are more efficient at converting that into protein than warm blooded livestock. Our bugs will grow 50 times their weight in five weeks. They can grow in dark environments. They grow in compact spaces and they require very minimal water resources.
