The Importance of Faith in Jesus

Every Easter I think about a mutual friend of ours, we were sitting on the front pew at a church we both served. He said there are so many really hurting people who are here today just seeking a word. The most important thing I want to get across is that the God of the universe who created all of this loves them. And even though they have turned aside from him like we all have and deserve separation from him and eternal judgment for sin before a holy God he has come to us. We could not conquer death itself through faith in Jesus but through trust in Jesus as Savior and Lord.
