Do You Think the Russians Are Trying to Convince the Population?
Russians prefer to think of this conflict as natieswar against russia. In that case, if we're looking at this latest round of diplomatic talks they seem to have come out of it with the conclusion that like this might not go anywhere. But on the other hand, you can look at this as russia got what wed wanted, in a sense, like they brought nato to the table. They voiced their frustrations, frustrations they had for quite some time. And i don't think anyone really expects a full bott ware at this moment. It is also a completely separate question whether public opinion on the matter really matters, and how much suade has in the decision making process
