The Future of Court Processes in the Face of the Pandemic
I think we're definitely seeing that. I was a little taken aback. Some folks are going back to in person only, but I wonder if that'll even be short-lived as more good examples start to materialize and make it easier or to implement at least changes on court personnel. One thing that we saw really successfully, the Vermont courts very early in the pandemic used ARPA funding to hire tech bailiffs. So to hire kind of scrappy young people to help both the judges, the private bar, as well as the public navigate remote hearings. It can be a nightmare for court personnel to manage a virtual proceeding.
