Do You Have a Proposal for a Book About Tennis?
Knoed: Most of what i think it's worth saying about tennis has been either said in this book or in the various bits and pieces i've written about. I didn't need to draw up a proposal, which is good, because i am incapable of doing such things. And one of the reasons i had no des to do so is, i think, because at that point, although i'd not done a proposal, i was contractly obliged to deliver that. So my sense of despair that i wasn't able to write the book was intensified by the fact that i knew i was meant to. There's that sort of specific detail. But more generally, non fiction books
