Is There a Workforce That's Coming Home to Roost?
I'm not really hearing anything from either of you that could be done everywhere next week, that would suddenly make the situation feel a whole lot better. The subtext of what everyone's saying is, oh, let's have a big national conversation about what could happen next winter or in five years' time. You don't change all of that quickly. So for COVID, we proved that we could rapidly mobilize and create beds. We proved that we can get the workforce. And I think right now, one of the things that would need to be done is to look at bed capacity. But of course, as soon as you stop elective surgery, in other words, people coming in
