The Dharma and Community Building
Grant: I'm going to be talking about community building in general today, not so much about how to set up a Buddhist community. What I want to talk about is more the collective aspect than the individual practice aspect of Buddhism. How do we create community that doesn't go into polarization or engage in power play between its members? Grant: It's very easy for community to polarize or have an external other. So it's always handy to have three of something, three Cs. The opportunity with others to create rituals and encounter diversity.
