The history of Islam in China is quite old. There were people that came spreading Islam just as merchants and so forth, quite from the early stages of Islam. And it seems like that Islam took a greater hold in China when there were sort of interactions with Muslims in Central Asia. We actually have now 10 different ethnicities of Muslims in China.
