Is There a Diminished God?
Is it wrong to say that evil finds its origin in the free will of creatures and not his decree? God wants to be loved and obeyed by creatures who voluntarily choose to do so. Love cannot be genuine if there's no other option. Any theodicy that emphasizes god's power and control to the neglect of his love and provision is not a christ centre theodycy, and thus should be rejected.
