The Importance of Accepting the Rules of the Game

I'm avoiding the word regret because regret to me implies that you wish you had done it differently. Like if you were 31 right now in today's age, would you do it the same way? You did it, you think? Because each step on that path was authentic. I recognize that having kids is probably the most amazing experience most people will ever have. And I won't have that experience. So just because you've done what you wanted to do doesn't mean that you don't look back and say, wow, I missed some really cool shit that other people have done. Some of that is within your control. Most of it isn't.
