How Hard Is It to Keep a System on the Positive Track?

Openan eye has three main arms: technical, policy and safety. Safety is working on mechanisms to insure that the systems we build are lined with human values. Policy is making sure that we have governents answering that question of, well, whose values? We've had some pretty encouraging up dates in terms of what we've been able to make works.
