The Story of Your Life by Ted Chang

In arrival, basically it's about how would we communicate with aliens who had a completely different communication structure if they came down to talk to us. There are ways of thinking in German that I can do that are very hard in English. And luckily English has twice as many words as any other language in the world. But when you learn another language, you actually have a different personality in that language. Who I am in German is different than who I am in English. So for me, I really like things that change how I think or teach me how to think differently and that's what this book did for me.
