I was originally a Python developer and I still do quite a bit of Python. And so me and the co-founder on a side project, we started building medical simulation software that the German government kind of picked up. We used flask and Python and stuff like this and started getting interested in Rust. When we actually started to put Rust servers into our Kubernetes cluster, server cost just like absolutely tanked and the CPU usage just completely dropped.
