Crypto Currency Is Just a Shorthand for Crypto Currency

Crypto is just a shorthand for crypto currency. It undercuts that, and most of the people using it don't really have a great understanding of why crypto is crypto to begin with. But i come back to the fact that language evolves, and it is on you, as a cryptographer or that community, to come up with any word. The crypto part of cryptography is latin. Nobody comes up with new latin words. It turns out they mean things, and we don't just change them.
