Kanes's Theory of the Economy
If one aspect of the economy is broken, nothing will work. But you don't need to change everything. You just need to change that one part. That was how kaine saw economic problems. Many of to day's economic theories developed out of kanes general theory. Kanes was groping for those ideas in writing the general theory. In many ways, it anticipated the discussions that we've seen and that we're seeing.
