The Different Types of Dissociation

There's a whole spectrum of dissociation from very mild to something like dissociative identity disorder. Ella actually had several different parts of herself as you explored this more in therapy. How many were there? Maybe four were always there, but then it fluctuated. And the most that she had at one point was 12. The oldest one was 16. One of these personalities or parts knew about the others or knew what the others were doing when that particular part was front and center in consciousness.
