I have this very old fashioned idea, which, you know, no one seems to share, that there has to be a renaissance of the locally produced factuality. This can't actually be solved from d c or new york or los angeles, that we have to find a way of funnelling money. Nd f, there's plenty of money to go around from thewe just tax social media. They wouldn't notice funnelling money to localities and subsidizing a commercial, or semi commercial, local reporting. That wouldn't be a panacea, but it would be a starting
