What Is the National Interest?
How do we as a society come to agree in what that is? I was reading and listeng to a couple of the podcast you made reference to heek, we spent six trillion dollars on failed nation building programmes. If we were to go back in time and record this in two thousand two i could easily see someone saying, these programes are in the national interest. And so i think the national interest is broadly making sure that these things that most americans care about can be achieved.
