My friend was, was a medical student at oxford and i had this, in retrospect, daft argument with some of the fellow graduate students wo sophy. Somebody adrays the issue of what happens when your arm goes asleep, you know, and you've got this alien arm that hits you in the face or something. And i immediately started thing, i don't know, but,you know, thes nerves, or maybe the nerves get sort of shut down. So i wasn't trying to solve the problem of learning.
